Stark, Summit counties hit with black ice

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) had 60 snow trucks working the roadways in Northeast Ohio Saturday.

In Cuyahoga County, snow hit the Cleveland area hard in the morning hours and continued to dump nearly 5 inches by the end of the day.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) in Stark County and Summit County reported problems along I-77 with spinouts. Black ice caused multiple crashes on nearly every bridge along I-77 in  throughout the evening. Drivers were asked to avoid the interstate to allow salt trucks to treat the surface. Even the tow trucks were crashing.

Looks like another winter weather mess is on hand for Monday. Just remember to take it slow and stay out of the plow's way!
