Browns head coach Pat Shurmur said on Tuesday Seneca Wallace will "more than likely" start Saturday afternoon against Baltimore.
Colt McCoy, who is still feeling the effects of his concussion, didn't practice on Tuesday. Shurmur said McCoy is making progress, but isn't ready to hit the field yet.
"I talked to him a long time. His spirits are good. Like anybody who wants to play, he's anxious to get out there. But he understands there's a process he has to go through before he can play again," Shurmur said.
Wallace started in place of McCoy last Sunday against Arizona, and almost lead the Browns to a victory.
Shurmur wouldn't say who will start the season finale against Pittsburgh on New Year's Day.
