One of the suspects from Parma home invasion in custody

PARMA, OH (WOIO) - Parma Police have made an arrest in a Christmas Eve home invasion. Around 9:45 pm on Christmas Eve, two black males had forced their way into the upstairs portion of 1912 North Ave.

The occupants of the residence were held at gunpoint while various items were removed.  The offenders then fled.

Authorities were able to tentatively identify one of the offenders as Joey Morales, of 11305 Whitmore Avenue, Cleveland.

Police have since learned that an alleged friend of the resident, who was visiting at the time, had actually planned the Robbery.  That male, Geovonni Lusane of Cleveland, was actually inside the residence visiting and had allowed the other two males inside while he was supposed to have been in the process of leaving.

Lusane was arrested by the Parma police on Thursday.  He is currently being held in the county jail.

Authorities have yet to identify the third male involved in this incident.  Investigators have learned that Joey Morales is one of several alias names used by the male in the photograph issued by police.  They have learned that he also goes by the street name of "Shotta."
