Cleveland already has two shootings in 2012

Police are investigating the first two shootings of 2012.

The first shooting happened around 2 a-m at Winners Bar at 774 East 185th Street. Police were called to the bar for shots fired and a woman shot. When Officers arrived, they found a large crowd, but the suspect and victim were gone.

The victim, Cierra Allen, 25, was taken by private car to Euclid Hospital. She was shot in the leg. Police talked to Allen at the hospital, and she told Officers there was a large fight in the bar, which continued onto the street. She was outside the bar in a vehicle, when she heard shots fired. She then jumped out of the car and ran, but was shot.

The second shooting took place around 2:15 a-m at Phase 3 Bar at 11132 Buckeye Road. When Officers arrived, they found Marvin Jackson, 24, with a gunshot wound to the left ankle.

Jackson was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center by EMS and was treated and released.

Police say Jackson and another man were arguing outside the bar, when he was shot. Jackson did not know the shooter.

No arrests in either shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463. (25-CRIME)
