AKRON, OH (WOIO) - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Deriel Mixon.
Mixon is wanted by the U.S. Marshals. Mixon is wanted for violating his conditions of pretrial release. Mixon was on federal pretrial release having been charged with felon in possession of a firearm. Mixon was on house arrest and was ordered to wear an ankle monitor. Mixon cut off his ankle monitor and has not been seen since. Mixon has a criminal history that includes acts of violence and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Mixon is a 31-year-old man standing approximately 6'00" and weighing 225 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Mixon is believed to be hiding in the Akron area. He also has a previous address near the 1100 block of Welton Ave. in Akron.
