Safety Director Martin Flask administered the Oath of Office to four Cleveland Patrol Officers returning to full-duty on Tuesday.
Returning officers were among 120 layoff victims, and have been off the job since state budget cuts forced city budget cuts back in May. The officers are replacing those who have retired.
"The city needs us, the people of Cleveland need us," said Officer Derek Davis.
75 of the laid off cops are still off the job. The good news is that because of a federal grant, 20 will be brought back before the end of the month.
