Cops investigate brazen, broad daylight robberies in Akron

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Police are investigating two broad daylight robberies in Akron.

The first happened at 6:45AM Tuesday morning, when an employee of Akron General Medical Center was robbed in the parking lot after he parked his car. The victim reported the suspect approached him, armed with a handgun, and demanded money. The victim handed the suspect his wallet containing bank cards and an unreported amount of cash.

The suspect fled to an awaiting, silver, four door car, with tinted windows.

Then around 1PM Tuesday afternoon, it appears the suspect involved in the earlier robbery at Akron General Medical Center, robbed two teens in the parking lot at Chapel Hill Mall. The suspect robbed one victim of a $40 men's ICE watch.
