Former NFL player Troy Smith was in court Thursday morning to answer to traffic violations.
Smith pleaded no contest to three charges - tinted windows, operating an unsafe vehicle and operating under suspension. He will just have to pay a fine.
He was arrested in downtown Cleveland last month.
Cops say Smith was stopped at West 9th and Main Avenue for a traffic violation. After a quick check, police arrested him for an outstanding warrant for driving under suspension.
Smith played at OSU and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens. He also played for the San Francisco 49ers.
