Cleveland Police have a man in custody after he fled from his ex-girlfriend's home Friday morning
It started with a domestic dispute between the suspect, identified as Jacquis Jones and his ex-girlfriend at E. 90th and Fuller.
The woman told police he kept trying to get into her home and was kicking in the door and screaming. After Jones started fighting with the woman's daughter, she poured bleach on him and hit him in the head with a wine bottle.
As police arrived, Jones fled. Police tried to stop him before he got into the car, but he wouldn't listen shifting the car into reverse and taking off backwards.
He turned the car around and kept driving, hitting speeds of 55 mph and even going the wrong way down a one-way street.
Jones then turned onto E. 103rd and turned right into someone's porch destroying it.
"There was a big bang, like crash, boom," said neighbor Beanie Clements. "I looked out of the window, and a car has jumped on top of someone's front porch."
Officers surrounded the vehicle and Jones still refused to comply. Police had to taser and dry stun Jones multiple times before it finally had any affect.
He was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges including burglary, assault, resisting arrest, failure to comply and open container.
