LAKEWOOD, OH (WOIO) - New details in a double shooting that happened Friday night in Lakewood.
Calls came in for several shots fired in the area of the 2000 block of Waterbury around 9:30PM.
Once on scene, officers found 2 males that had been shot. One male, identified as Charles Wilson, 17, of Cleveland had been shot in the head, was inside the home and pronounced dead on the scene.
Another male, identified as 20-year-old Frederick Burt of Cleveland, was outside the house when officers arrived, and had been shot in the leg. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
25-year-old Andre Daniels was charged with Aggravated Murder, 21-year-old Ronald Perry was charged with Obstructing Justice, 33-year-old Heather Tuel charged with Obstructing Justice, 18-year-old Deon D. Allen charged with Obstructing Official Business, 17-year-old Alex F. Sifford, charged with Delinquency and Receiving Stolen Property.
The initial investigation reveals that there may have been some familiarity between some of the suspects and victims. Motive has not been established at this point.
The investigation is ongoing with additional charges possible for these and other suspects.
