Geauga Humane Society rescues "Wally the Wal-Mart Horse"

GEAUGA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - A couple months ago, Geauga County's Humane Agent, Christian Courtwright, received a strange call.

An Amish teenager had apparently unhooked his horse from a buggy, tied it to a rail at the Walmart in Middlefield and never came back for it.

Thanks to Rescue Village's Barn program and the incredible work of humane officer, Courtwright, "Wally" is being well-cared for and will soon be available for adoption.
