Man pleads not guilty for posting family sex ad on Craigslist

A man busted for looking to have sex with a family was in court Wednesday morning.

24-year-old Timothy Rogers pleaded not guilty to attempted rape, attempted kidnapping and possessing criminal tools.

Rogers posted the perverse ad on Craigslist entitled 'Mother-Daughter, Father-Son Taboo.' Someone with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force spotted it and set up a sting.

The Akron man allegedly went to an Independence hotel on December 30th to meet with whom he believed was a father and his young daughters.

Rogers was arrested when he arrived at the hotel.

"Tim Rogers was pretty explicit in what he wanted to do to these children, or what he thought were this six-year-old and twelve-year-old," said Assistant Prosecutor Brett Kyker.

According to the prosecutor, Rodgers made it clear he was looking to have sex with the children.

He is being held on $250K bond.
