State of Ohio: No Cleveland Fire Department audit needed

Breaking news in the scandal at the Cleveland Fire Department. The State Auditor is not going to do its own special audit.

19 Action News First to report the audit last fall, this after a handful of Cleveland firefighters were busted getting full pay for just a few days of work a year. Those involved are claiming they traded shifts with other firefighters.

Cleveland City Hall discovered this through their own audit and are now doing another.

The union has called for an 'outside' review by the state of Ohio. But, the Ohio Auditor just sent a letter to Mayor Jackson saying it appears the city is doing a fair review.
