Woman indicted for throwing her child out in the trash

A Cleveland Grand Jury just indicted a woman who calls herself a mother. India Parker admitted she threw out her daughter, but now it appears we may never know what really happened.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutors just filed tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse charges against Parker.
Investigators have tried desperately to find more about what happened to little Kaliyah Parker or locate her body but so far they have come up empty -- so no murder charges.

The child vanished in 2006, when she was five-years-old. She would be 10 now, but friends and relatives say the child has not been seen in years. We are told India would always make excuses to explain the girl's absence-- saying her daughter was with relatives or social workers.

But Cleveland Police say India Parker just recently told them the child died 5 or 6 years ago. She left the girl in her bed for a week, then threw her out.

India Parker remains locked up on bond.

Again, the new charges could send her to prison only for a few years so a big part of this mystery may always  be unsolved.
