A Cleveland Public Power worker is recovering Thursday evening after falling from a crane basket.
Officials tell 19 Action News that the worker fell from crane basket around 3:10 a.m. Thursday when the vehicle tipped over on I-90 near MLK Boulevard.
The worker was rushed to local hospital with a broken wrist, cuts and bruises.
Cleveland Public Power Operations Manager Rich Barton says "We are investigating this accident, but it appears high winds may have contributed to this unfortunate incident."
Shortly before 7AM, all lanes re-opened along I-90 eastbound at MLK. The MLK entrance ramp to I-90 eastbound also reopened at that time.
