Woman gets 9 1/2 years for killing judge while driving drunk

Sentencing today for a woman who plead guilty back in January to killing a popular Geauga County Judge while driving drunk.

Kelly Cox admitted her guilty as her trial was set to begin last month.

Today, a judge sentenced her to 9 1/2 years in jail.

Prosecutors say Cox struck 53-year-old Judge Charles "Chip" Henry while he was riding his bike last May on Rapids Road in Troy Township.

Cox, 42 was nearly four times the legal limit at the time of the crash. Her two children - ages 2 and 10 - were also in the car.
