Kent man arrested after cocaine investigation

KENT, OH (WOIO) -

Sheriff David Doak announced today that on January 13th agents from the Portage County Drug Task Force arrested Ricky Davis of 712 Longcoy Avenue, Kent, Ohio. 

Davis was arrested following a four month investigation for trafficking in crack cocaine.  Task Force Agents conducted a search warrant of Davis' residence and recovered a loaded handgun, drug packaging supplies, and over one thousand dollars in cash.  The Portage County Drug Task Force was arrested David in the past for trafficking in crack cocaine.

The Portage County Drug Task Force is comprised of agents from the Portage County Sheriff's Office, Aurora Police Department, Brimfield Police Department, Kent Police Department, Garrettsville Police Department, Streetsboro Police Department, Ravenna Police Department, Windham Police Department and the Portage County Prosecutor's office.
