Cavs end losing streak with win over Knicks

(WOIO) - The Cavs first meeting with Knicks this season has proven to be a successful one.

Cleveland beat New York Wednesday night by 10 points, 91-81 -- and that's with Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire.

Antawn Jamison had 15 points for the Cavs, Omri Casspi added 13 while Kyrie Irving had just seven points.

Casspi meantime took an elbow to the chin and did not return to the game after receiving six stitches.

Amare Stoudemire had 19 points for the Knicks and Carmelo Anthony scored 15 points.

Cavs rookie Tristan Thompson meantime, did not play for the second game in a row. He's nursing a sprained left ankle.
