31-year-old inmate fails to show up to halfway house, sought by feds

(WOIO) -

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Samantha Dameron.

Dameron is wanted by the United States Marshals Service for Escape. Dameron was serving a 51-month prison sentence in a Connecticut Federal Prison for Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin until she was granted an early release to a Halfway House Treatment Facility in Cleveland. Dameron served 22 months of her sentence in prison before she was released and ordered to report to the Cleveland Halfway House. Dameron was expected to report to the Halfway House on November 1, 2011, but she failed to show up.

Dameron is a 31-year-old woman standing approximately 5'04" and weighing 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She also has numerous tattoos, with the most obvious being markings under her eye and on her cheek. The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has reason to believe that Dameron may be staying with associates in or around Cleveland's West Side.

If you have any information in reference to Samantha Dameron, please contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or Text keyword WANTED and tip to 847411 (tip411). Tipsters can remain anonymous and reward money is available.
