A Lorain County mother slapped with charges after allegedly shooting up heroin with her young daughter in the car.

It happened Friday night at 6:15PM at Midway Mall in the Harry Buffalo parking lot.

Witnesses found Chelsie M. Hensley unconscious with a needle sticking out of her arm. Her daughter was screaming in the back seat of the car. The witnesses called 911.

According to the police report, officers found Hensley shaking and being defiant to emergency responders. She denied any medical attention.

Hensley denied using the needle, and then tried to grab it from the officer. Hensley finally admitted to using the heroin, and also advised there were some old needles inside her purse. Officers also found a brown spongy substance that tested positive for heroin.

Hensley was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments and child endangering.

No word on who has custody of Hensley's daughter at this time.
