Police called to a Cleveland elementary school after several students cut their arms with the razor from a pencil sharpener.
It happened Tuesday afternoon at Walton Elementary.
Police say one of the students was able to get the two small blades from the sharpener housing.
12 students then began to pass the blades around and place scratches on their arms. Nine students ended up with very minor scratches.
A security guard saw what was happening, and stopped them.
The nine students with scratches were treated and released at Metro.
All of the parents were called. The Board of Education is now investigating.
