PARMA, OH (WOIO) - Three people rushed to the hospital after an early morning accident in Parma.
The one-car crash happened around 3AM in the 7700 block of Hoertz Road.
21-year-old Scot Taylor was driving the vehicle at a high rate of speed when he lost control, left the roadway on the left side, entered a ditch and came to rest against a large tree causing crippling damage to the vehicle.
Two men in Taylor's car were wearing seat belts, and had to be removed with the help of the Parma Fire Department.
Taylor was not wearing his seat belt, and was trapped behind the steering wheel.
All three men were transported to Metro Hospital with one of them being life flighted. All three remain in the hospital.
Taylor has been charged with driving under suspension and OVI. Further information will be presented to the prosecutor for additional charges.
