Construction worker injured at Columbus casino site

A casino construction worker was injured Friday morning after a piece of equipment fell on top of him.

WBNS in Columbus reports emergency crews were called out to the Hollywood Casino construction site located at Georgesville Road and West Broad Street around 8:30 a.m. after a forklift weighing approximately 1,000 pounds fell on top of the 53-year-old male worker.

According to reports, the male suffered minor cuts and scrapes. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
