27-year-old burned in Maple Heights house fire

MAPLE HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - A 27-year-old woman treated and released from Metro after being burned in a house fire.

The blaze started just before 10PM Thursday on Raymond Avenue.

Firefighters say the ranch house was destroyed.

The victim, her parents and two siblings were inside the house. The other family members were not injured.

A dog also escaped and Bedford Firefighters resuscitated one cat and a second cat remains missing.

Firefighters say the cause remains under investigation, but it began in the basement.
