Cleveland Police are asking for the public's help in solving a hit-skip accident at Ontario Street at South Roadway.

The horrific hit-skip caught on tape happened Sunday, June 24 around 1:24 a.m.

Cleveland Police say the 27-year old Michael E. Keough of Brooklyn was jaywalking at Ontario Street and South Roadway in the crosswalk when he was struck by a white four door auto operating southbound on Ontario with the green light.

After hitting the victim, the white auto fled the scene southbound on Ontario Street.

Keough was transported to the MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

The suspected hit skip vehicle is described as a white four door Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis. There should be fresh damage to the left front bumper assembly and lower left front of windshield.

This investigation is being handled by the Cleveland Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit.
