New York, NY (WOIO) - The Indians' 10-day swing through Houston, New York and Baltimore is turning into the roughest road trip since "Planes, Trains and Automobiles", and they don't even have John Candy to blame.
Robinson Cano homered for the second time in the series, and the Yankees held off a 9th inning rally, to complete the sweep of the Tribe, 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Indians did do some damage in the fifth inning, as Asdrubal Cabrera and Jason Kipnis drove in runs to give the Indians a 3-2 lead. Casey Kotchman had taken out Andy Pettite earlier, literally, with a line-drive that fractured the lefty's foot.
The Tribe loaded the bases in the 9th, and cut it to 5-4, before Cabrera hit a fly ball to left to end the game.
