SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - Police have finally closed one of their city's cold cases.
Chief of Police D. Scott Lee announced that on Tuesday, June 19, Officers arrested Steven Rackley, 41, of Garfield Heights.
He is accused of in the stabbing death of Mitchell Perry, a 26 year-old Cleveland resident. The incident occurred at 17125 Scottsdale Boulevard on Wednesday, November 8, 2006.
On Wednesday, June 27, 2012, the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Rackley for the charges of Aggravated Murder, Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, and Tampering with Evidence.
