Parents sentenced for injuries to infant

Sentencing time for parents who weren't able to explain injuries to their 11-week-old baby.

Brianne Cossin and Charles Pugh were staying together on Denison in Cleveland between February 13 and March 2 when their daughter sustained multiple injuries.

She was taken to the hospital by Cossin for treatment where they discovered she had nine rib fractures, RSV and scabies.

Neither parent could explain the injuries.

On June 1, Pugh and Cossin plead guilty to one count of endangering children.

Cossin was sentenced to 18 months in prison.  Pugh was sentenced to two years in prison.

The victim, as well as Cossin's two other children, are currently in foster care.
