NORTH OLMSTED, OH (WOIO) - More than 100 customers in North Olmsted were powerless after a racoon wreaked havoc at a power substation.
A spokesperson at First energy says the racoon either chewed or walked on something he shouldn't have. The racoon was fried and died during the incident.
Power was restored to all customers by 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Lightening possibly caused a small power outage in Westlake, Ohio leaving about 60 customers in the dark early Wednesday morning. Their power was expected to be restored by late Wednesday morning.
