Geneva, OH (WOIO) - College football fans may be ecstatic about the new four-team playoff format that will kick off in 2014, but Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer remains split on the new system.
Speaking to 19 Action News at his football camp in Geneva on Thursday, Meyer says he's "50-50" on the playoff, and that'll be hard for him to tell his players and coaches, after a future win at the Rose Bowl, that they "have one more".
Meyer did admit he hasn't studied the playoff parameters, saying he has other things to worry about. That includes replacing his top running back, Jordan Hall, for at least the first few games of the 2012 season. Hall recently underwent surgery on his right foot after stepping on glass and tearing a tendon.
