Newton Falls Police investigate quadruple killing

TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - Police are investigating after four people were found shot to death in Trumbull County.

According to Newton Falls Police one of the victims, who has since died, called 911 around 12:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. When cops arrived they found four people, 2 adults and 2 juveniles.  The two adults and one of the juveniles were dead.

According to Newton Falls Police, the two adult victims have been identified as Rikki Cogley, 42 and Kathy Cogley, 39. Published reports say the third victim is 15 year old Everett Greathouse.

While processing the scene and interviewing witnesses, police identified the suspect as Robert Brazzon.

Around 4 p.m., police located a fourth victim, also shot to death, in the home of Robert Brazzon, 55. She has been identified as Tracy Engler, 38.

About the same time police located Brazzon's car in the back of a cemetery on Ridge Road in Newton Falls.

Officers responded, but after a brief standoff, Brazzon took his own life.

Witnesses had reported that there were 2 people in Brazzon's vehicle as he fled the shooting scene.  A second person of interest is also being questioned regarding the incident.
