The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has released the identity of a man found dead in his Locke Avenue home Saturday.
The male has been identified as Paul Cotton, 52.
According to Cleveland Police, Saturday around 1:30 pm., Fifth district officers responded to 12817 Locke Avenue for a report of a body. Upon arrival, officers found Cotton unresponsive with a serious head injury.
The preliminary investigation reveals that a family member entered the Cotton's home to check his well being and discovered his body on the floor in the living room. Police and EMS were called and the he was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.
Missing, possibly in connection with this homicide, is Cotton's 1991 Ford Taurus, red in color and bearing Ohio license plate EXV7601. If this vehicle is seen, please do not approach, call 911.
