COLUMBUS, OH (WOIO) - State Rep. Bill Patmon announced $65,000 in state money will go to the United Way of Greater Cleveland to provide a hotline for gambling addiction help and resources.
"This hotline is critical to Ohioans as gambling becomes more prevalent in our state," said Rep. Patmon. "The United Way of Greater Cleveland already provides so many valuable services to our community. It is comforting to know that they will be on call for Ohioans who are experiencing gambling addiction and feel helpless or lost."
The United Way of Greater Cleveland will operate the toll-free telephone number twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to provide information on problem gambling and act as a resource in obtaining help for gambling addiction.
