MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - A former suburban police boss has plead guilty for his role in his 'son's drug case.
19 Action News broke the story about Mike Lanzola, who was indicted Wednesday for allowing drug deals in his home.
Lanzola had been a lieutenant for the Mayfield Heights Police Department before he announced his retirement last week.
Thursday afternoon, Lanzola plead guilty. As part of his plea, Lanzola had to retire and agree to cooperate in his son Chad's case, who was recently indicted for drug trafficking.
