(WOIO) - A domestic violence complaint led Pleasantville Police to a shocking discovery.
According to deputies, while processing the complaint at 8721 Lancaster-Thornville Rd., which is just southeast of Columbus, authorities noticed a bunk bed that had a steel mesh fence wrapped around the lower bunk. It was later discovered that it was designed to restrain a 4-year-old little girl.
The pen also had an access door that had a screen door hook and sliding dead bolt. This pen was used to keep the child confined to her bed.
Felony charges of kidnapping and child endangering have been filed against the child's parents, Russell D. Terry, 34, and Jamie M. Curnell, 32.
Both are being held in the Fairfield County Jail on $500,000 bond.
Police are investigating.
