Possible child drowning in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - Brookfield Police and the Trumbull County Dive Team are investigating a missing child case Friday evening.

It's believed that the 12-year-old boy drowned in the Shenango River late Thursday evening, when the child was first reported missing. He has been identified as Mark Goodrich of Sharon, according to the Tribune Chronicle

Rescue and recovery teams are searching the area of Route 62 near the Pennsylvania state line at this time.

If child has drowned, this will be the fourth incident since last weekend.
