90 Degree Temps are Back, Gas Prices Fall, Man Tries to Lure Children

The heat and humidity make an encore today! Expect temperatures above 90 this afternoon with even more heat building in Tuesday. The humidity is expected to be high, so it will feel like triple digit heat especially Tuesday afternoon. By Wednesday a cold front moves in bringing with it of next hope of some rain.

Average retail gasoline prices in Cleveland have fallen 11.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.36/g Sunday. This compares with the national average that has not moved in the last week to $3.42/g, according to gasoline price website ClevelandGasPrices.com. Including the change in gas prices in Cleveland during the past week, prices Sunday were 24.1 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 30.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 11.0 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 24.7 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.

Police in Springfield Township, Ohio and residents are on high alert this weekend after reports of a male trying to lure children with candy surfaced Friday evening. The suspicious vehicle has been described as a "tan" boxy, 4 door car with clothes hanging in the back seat. The vehicle was last spotted in the Village of Lakemore. During two separate incidents, the male was scene trying to lure children into his vehicle with candy. In both incident's the children ran home to their parents. The male suspect was described by witnesses as possible Caucasian or hispanic with dark spiked hair and tattoos on his left arm. The Springfield Township Police Department has asked parents to observe their children and report any suspicious activity to the Springfield Township Police at 330.643.2181.
