Including the change in gas prices in Cleveland during the past week, prices Sunday were 24.1 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 30.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 11.0 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 24.7 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
Police in Springfield Township, Ohio and residents are on high alert this weekend after reports of a male trying to lure children with candy surfaced Friday evening. The suspicious vehicle has been described as a "tan" boxy, 4 door car with clothes hanging in the back seat. The vehicle was last spotted in the Village of Lakemore. During two separate incidents, the male was scene trying to lure children into his vehicle with candy. In both incident's the children ran home to their parents. The male suspect was described by witnesses as possible Caucasian or hispanic with dark spiked hair and tattoos on his left arm.
