The Indians ended their two game losing streak on Monday night after beating Tampa Bay 3-2. The offense showed up early, it started with a wild pitch in the first, that scored Shin-Soo Choo from third base. They also had back to back doubles by Choo and Jason Kipnis in the 3rd inning to make it 3-0.
Tampa Bay cut the lead to 3-1 in the 4th inning with a Jeff Keppinger infield RBI single and then 3-2 with a Desmond Jennings home run in the 7th.
Zack McAllister gets his fourth win of the season by going 6 innings and only giving up one run with five strikeouts. All-Star Chris Perez also got his 26th save of the year in the game.
The Tribe will play the second game of the four game series against the Rays on Tuesday as Josh Tomlin goes up against Matt Moore for Tampa Bay.
