Tampa Strikes Early, Hangs On For 4-2 Win

The Indians lost to the Rays 4-2 in St.Petersburg.

Tampa took the early lead in the first with a two-run homer by Carlos Pena and an RBI triple by Luke Scott off Tribe starter Josh Tomlin.

Cleveland would battle back with a sac fly by Jose Lopez in the fourth and an RBI single by Jason Kipnis in the fifth.

Tampa added to the lead in the sixth to reach the final score of 4-2.

The Tribe and Rays will play their third game of this four-game series tomorrow night at 7:05.
