Santana Finally Homers, Tribe Wins

Carlos Santana slugged a home run for the first time since May 15th, ending a 138 at bat drought, to help the Tribe past Tampa Bay 10-6.

The Indians trailed 4-0 until starting their rally. Jason Kipnis tied the game in the 7th win an RBI single, moments later Michael Brantley gave them the lead with an RBI hit of his own. Then Santana hit his slump busting bomb. He'd add an RBI single in the 9th.

Justin Masterson took a no decision, he did not pitch well, giving up seven hits and seven walks in less than five innings of work.
