Cleveland (WOIO) - The Browns' last remaining unsigned draft pick came to terms with the team Tuesday afternoon. Brandon Weeden agreed to a four-year deal worth about $8.1 million.
One of the final hurdles was the guaranteed money Weeden wanted. The quarterback from Oklahoma State wanted the contract to be fully guaranteed, but the Browns only weren't willing to do that. The two sides agreed to have $900,000 of the fourth year guaranteed.
Monday night, the third overall pick in April's NFL Draft, Trent Richardson agreed to a four-year deal with the Browns. The running back's deal is worth about $20.5 million, all of which is guaranteed.
The rookies were scheduled to report to training camp on Tuesday and hit the practice field Wednesday. Full team workouts begin on Saturday.
