EASTLAKE, OH (WOIO) - Fire investigators have pinpointed what caused a devastating house fire in Eastlake Monday afternoon.
Officials say a company working on the home didn't realize one of their propane tanks was leaking. The home was filled with propane gas, which was then ignited by an open flame.
The Traymore Boulevard home was destroyed, and the homeowner was injured.
He had to jump from a second story window to escape the fire. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. No word on his condition at this time.
Two others escaped the house fire unharmed.
