Driver killed in fiery crash

One person is dead following a fiery one car accident on the city's east side.

The accident happened at 5:40 a.m. at the intersection of Stokes and Martin Luther King Boulevards.

The report by the Cleveland Police Department reveals the victim was driving a blue Honda eastbound on Stokes Boulevard above the posted speed limit when he crashed into a utility pole.

After the crash, the car caught fire.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

No word on the driver's identity at this time.
