Berea (WOIO) - After their third day of training camp on Monday, the Browns will get a day of rest.  The team won't practice on Tuesday but will meet as a group throughout the day.

Here's what some players said after practice on Monday:

Frostee Rucker

(On not being bitter about leaving Cincinnati and if it will be weird looking across the field at his former teammates)- "I think it will be weird during warm ups, and then right when you get the first play in, it is what it is. Like you said, I'm not bitter at all about not being in Cincinnati. They gave me six blessed years there, and without me being there for six years, I wouldn't be here. I have no ill will to them. I wish them the best of luck except when they play us twice. Other than that, being there, it got me enough time to mature to be able to be here and be able to come in and step in and play the role that I'm getting now."

(On what the team can do to improve the run defense)- "We just really need to concentrate on being fundamentally sound and being gap sound. The coaches are really harping on those things now, and everyone's getting it. Last year, it was unfortunate, when they came together there were no OTAs or minicamps, so they were a little bit behind. With the team defense they had they still finished 10th overall, so that was really special and a big accomplishment. Now, we have time to get the OTAs and minicamp and everyone can get familiar with playing a 4-3 from switching from a 3-4 and all those things. The sky is the limit for this group. Everyone is being accountable and that's the best thing, to be accountable and play gap sound football and we should be alright."

T.J. Ward

(On having an off day so soon in camp)- "It's going really a well right now. It's running pretty smooth. Our bodies should be relatively fresh, and this off day is going to help us a lot. We're going to bounce back that next day of practice, and we should be pretty explosive and well rested."

(On what it's like to see so much healthy competition on the field)- "It's good. It's definitely going to translate to the season. Seeing so many guys so competitive, so willing to sell out and try to make a play, so hungry. It's going to help us during the season so it's definitely good to see."

Jordan Cameron

(On how training camp is going so far)- "It's going good. They've been giving me some opportunities and I'm trying to take advantage of them. So far, so good."

(On how helpful it is that he is getting extra reps)- "It helps, because the lack of experience that I have in this position. It's good to get out there and get actual reps against the one defense or anyone in particular. It's been good. It's been helpful because I need the reps, that's the best way for me to learn."

(On if he communicates with the other tight ends a lot)- "Ben (Watson), Evan (Moore) all of those guys have been real helpful. They have been doing it a while so they know what they are doing. It's been good to be in the room with them. I want to pattern their habits because they know they know what they are doing."
