Tribe Drops 5th Straight

Kansas City (WOIO) - The Indians are doing the impossible on this road trip...they're making the Twins and Royals look good.  After getting swept in Minnesota over the weekend, they're now struggling against the lowly Royals, falling for the second straight night, and extending their losing streak to five, with a 5-2 loss on Wednesday.

The Royals jumped on Zach McCallister early, scoring two in the first inning, the first run courtesy of a Carlos Santana throwing error that allowed Alcides Escobar to score.  Billy Butler doubled the lead with a fielder's choice later in the inning.

Kansas City added two more with RBI's by Jarrod Dyson and Alex Gordon, before Santana answered for the Tribe with his 10th home run of the season in the fourth.
