SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - Officers, Saturday evening, responded to the rear residence of 1868 Oakes Drive in Springfield Township to investigate information on an suspected methamphetamine lab.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the occupants and noticed the smell of chemicals coming from inside the residence. A search of the residence discovered an active methamphetamine lab inside.
Arrested on the scene were 33 year old Tony D. Macchiarole of Akron and 23 year old Kelly M. Bolyard of Springfield Twp.
Both suspects were charged with assembly to manufacture drugs, a felony of the first degree. Ms. Bolyard was also charged with felony child endangering for having her 6 year old child in the residence at the time.
Both were booked into the Summit County Jail.
The child is with family members.
