Cleveland Browns fans are ready for some football.
The Browns hosted Family Night at the stadium Wednesday night.
Fans shook hands and grilled the new owner, Jimmy Haslam.
"I was telling some of my friends back at home that I never seen people who like football as much as this community does," said Jimmy Haslam.
Haslam told fans last week he wants a winning team.
From the looks of the crowd many would have thought it was football Sunday but fans showed up in droves for Family Night.
They all came to see some of their favorite players.
Fans filled the seats like it was a real game and even got see some real plays.
Everyone was upbeat despite the double-barrel bad news of Trent Richardson and Joe Haden.
Browns running back Trent Richardson, the team's #1 pick, and third overall pick in April's draft, traveled to Pensacola, FL on Wednesday to meet with renowned specialist Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion on his left knee.
Richardson was held out of Tuesday's practice after experiencing soreness.
Right before family night, news surfaced about Browns player, Joe Haden.
Reports are out that Haden failed a drug test.
Haden, 23, is a cornerback for the team.
If true, Haden could face a suspension.
