LORAIN, OH (WOIO) - The Lorain County Coroner tells 19 Action News that Catherine Hoholski's body was found in a plastic container. The container was in a storage area of the apartment complex on Tower Boulevard, which she had shared with her boyfriend, Albert Fine.
Lorain police found the body of 26-year-old on August 8.
Hoholski's family reported her missing in mid-July. They became concerned when she stopped showing up to MetroHealth Medical Center to visit her premature newborn.
Police arrested Fine, 30, Thursday night in the Lowe's parking lot off Nicholasville Road in Lexington, KY.
Accused in her death, he appeared in a Kentucky courtroom Friday afternoon. Fine is expected to be back in Lorain sometime next week. 32-year-old Merry Bennett, aka River, was also considered a person of interest in the case. She was located in Kentucky, too, but was questioned and released.
Meantime, family and friends of Catherine Hoholski will be holding a candlelight vigil for her Sunday, August 12th.
Event organizers say the public is welcome to attend the vigil and show support for the family as they remember Catherine.
The vigil will be held at Veterans Park in Lorain (across the street from Lorain City Hall) at 8pm.
Hoholski's cause of death remains under investigation.
