Dog killed in Euclid house fire

EUCLID, OH (WOIO) - A fire at a house in Euclid Saturday evening killed one dog. Firefighters say the blaze at 20350 Lakeshore Blvd. started around 6:00 p.m.

Everyone inside managed to evacuate the burning home safely, but their dog died of smoke inhalation. The family's other dog escaped the blaze and is ok.

Fire officials believe the fire started in the back porch area of the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
